We met Goran on the very first familiarisation trip organised by the Swedish Lapland Tourism board to Lulea. As the pre-eminent hospitality entrepreneur in this part of the world he already had a thriving summer business catering at his Brandon and Pine Bay lodges for the tourism influx to this coastal region and its islands in the Lulea Archipelago.
At this time the prospect of Northern Lights tourism was in its infancy and we have watched how Goran has been one of the leaders in putting Lulea on the tourist map.
