This cosy haven offers exceptionally comfortable accommodations and a range of facilities for guests, along with a variety of seasonal activities set amidst the Arctic wilderness.
Wilderness Hotels Juutua

Having undergone a comprehensive renovation, Hotel Juutua now stands at par with its sister hotels in the region, boasting modern amenities and design elements. Capitalising on its picturesque river setting, the hotel offers sweeping panoramic views through its expansive windows in the lobby, restaurant, and guest rooms.
For a restful night's sleep, guests can choose between two options. Wilderness rooms, suitable for 1 or 2 guests, are situated in the main building and feature a private bathroom with toiletries, a small wardrobe, and a hairdryer. On the other hand, River Suites, located adjacent to the main building along the riverbank, provide a private balcony or patio, offering a close connection to nature. With north-facing windows, the suites provide an opportunity to observe the night sky and potentially witness the northern lights. Each suite is equipped with its own sauna, fridge, wardrobe, and tea & coffee making facilities.
The restaurant's panoramic windows showcase the stunning winter scenery, creating a perfect backdrop to savour traditional Lappish cuisine. The full-board option encompasses an evening meal on arrival day through to breakfast on departure day.
Hotel Juutua's ideal winter wilderness setting sets the stage for an array of exciting activities that capitalise on the snowy surroundings. With ample opportunities to witness the aurora, the resort provides an excellent backdrop for an unforgettable winter experience. In the midst of the serene snowy landscape, guests can breathe in the crisp Arctic air, engage in once-in-a-lifetime experiences, and indulge in the traditional Finnish sauna, all contributing to a profound sense of well-being.

Northern lights tour reviews
We booked with Aurora for a short winter break to celebrate an event. We wanted something special and that’s what we got. Clear information was backed up with straightforward booking detail, and we had a super, holiday with no complications.
The holiday exceeded my expectations and I will use Aurora in the future. Thank you!
My wife and I had an awesome and memorable trip to Iceland thanks to Alex at Aurora Nights. Alex tailored the itinerary to exactly what we wanted to see and chose excellent hotels to stay at. We totally enjoyed the city of Reykjavik and the many beautiful waterfalls. He went above and beyond to not only recommend sights to see around the Golden Circle and Ring Road, but also mapped it out so we were prepared to drive through the country during unpredictable weather and road conditions. And we were especially pleased to see the Northern Lights on our visit. Alex was very flexible to make changes to our plans and choosing the wonderful Sky Lagoon to replace our tickets for the Blue Lagoon due to the closure from the volcanic activity. We highly recommend Alex and Aurora Nights.
An amazing trip and excellent service provided by all involved. Great value for money too. Food was excellent. Accommodation was wonderful and the trips booked were outstanding. An amazing trip
Cannot thank this company enough. Our break to Iceland was the second time we’ve let them organise everything for us and once again they didn’t disappoint. Everything ran seamlessly and the organised tours were wonderful. This company knows what they are doing. If you want to experience the geysers, the volcano, the northern lights and all the other exciting things that Iceland has to offer then this is the company to use.
