Lyngen Experience Apartments is where silence becomes sound, and the Arctic whispers in tones of silver and snow.
Lyngen Experience Apartments

Nestled in the fjord-side village of Nord-Lenangen, this intimate retreat invites you to dwell between mountain and sea, between breath and stillness.
These six meticulously designed apartments are more than just spaces, they are sanctuaries. Each one, whether a snug one-bedroom or a spacious three-bedroom, opens its arms to the shifting skies and the embrace of the Lyngen Alps. From your private balcony, the sea stretches north like a mirror to the heavens, reflecting the midnight sun in summer and the aurora’s green fire in winter.
Inside, the apartments are havens of warmth and elegance. Thoughtful design and Nordic minimalism create a space that soothes. Soft lighting washes over oak floors and modern furnishings, while full kitchens and generous dining areas offer space to gather, share, and slow down. Living rooms are places to curl into—read, rest, or watch the light change over the fjord.
Shared spaces echo this calm intimacy. A guest lounge awaits for moments of quiet conversation or contemplation, and a panoramic sauna offers heat and peace beneath wide Arctic skies. The building also includes a drying room for ski and snow gear—practical comfort for those who step out into the wild and return home to warmth.
The three-bedroom apartments offer expansive views and room for families or small groups to spread out, while the one-bedroom apartments are perfect for couples or solo travellers, with the option of a sofa bed for the unexpected guest. Every detail is arranged to cradle you in ease and beauty.
Here, at the edge of the world, nature leads. Reindeer move in the distance, the sea breathes against the rocks, and the aurora dances without needing to be seen. Each moment is unhurried. Each day is touched by wonder.
Lyngen Experience Apartments is not simply accommodation, it is a mixture of light and quiet, of northern rhythm and deep rest. It is a place to be still, to watch, and to listen as the Arctic sings you softly home.

Northern lights tour reviews
We booked with Aurora for a short winter break to celebrate an event. We wanted something special and that’s what we got. Clear information was backed up with straightforward booking detail, and we had a super, holiday with no complications.
The holiday exceeded my expectations and I will use Aurora in the future. Thank you!
My wife and I had an awesome and memorable trip to Iceland thanks to Alex at Aurora Nights. Alex tailored the itinerary to exactly what we wanted to see and chose excellent hotels to stay at. We totally enjoyed the city of Reykjavik and the many beautiful waterfalls. He went above and beyond to not only recommend sights to see around the Golden Circle and Ring Road, but also mapped it out so we were prepared to drive through the country during unpredictable weather and road conditions. And we were especially pleased to see the Northern Lights on our visit. Alex was very flexible to make changes to our plans and choosing the wonderful Sky Lagoon to replace our tickets for the Blue Lagoon due to the closure from the volcanic activity. We highly recommend Alex and Aurora Nights.
An amazing trip and excellent service provided by all involved. Great value for money too. Food was excellent. Accommodation was wonderful and the trips booked were outstanding. An amazing trip
Cannot thank this company enough. Our break to Iceland was the second time we’ve let them organise everything for us and once again they didn’t disappoint. Everything ran seamlessly and the organised tours were wonderful. This company knows what they are doing. If you want to experience the geysers, the volcano, the northern lights and all the other exciting things that Iceland has to offer then this is the company to use.
