Aurora Safari Camp

Founded in 2013 by photographer Fredrik Broman and safari specialist Jonas Gejke, Aurora Safari Camp stands as the world’s inaugural glamping site designed to embrace the Arctic winter conditions. Nestled adjacent to the expansive frozen Lake Degerselet, a fragment smaller than Manhattan Island, the camp is inspired by Kenya’s secluded bush camp model but caters to the unpredictable Arctic climate. Accessible through Luleå airport or Boden C train station, the camp offers private guided transfers through the enchanting forest, with the option of a winter arrival via snowmobile sleigh.

There are three winter room options available. Two heated Lapland Cone rooms with en-suite, glass roof and panoramic windows, similar heated Tipi Cabins with en-suite
Enjoy a wide range of Arctic winter activities, workshops or day trips from the camp, before relaxing in the sauna which will leave you feeling rejuvenated and recharged.
